INSPIRING LOCALS TO GET INVOLVED

With some amazing brand ambassadors in place, Tourism Bay of Plenty challenged WAVE to go out to local residents with a campaign that would encourage people to get online and complete a survey about their favourite local activities and attractions.

CELEBRATING PEOPLE AND PLACES

Drawing on the unique character of our 3 local ambassadors, we created a colourful multi-channel campaign that encouraged people to think about what they love most about living in the Bay – and go online to share it with us. The great prizes up for grabs offered an incentive that also helped bring to life some of our most exciting local events and destinations.

A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF OUR REGION

Our campaign got an incredible response, with over three times the targeted number of residents completing the online survey. This gave Tourism Bay of Plenty the insights they needed to develop their brand and drive new tourism campaigns for the region.
